One Self is a collaboration of like minds. Meeting in the rich, divergent, music scene of London, in 2005, One Self brought together DJ Vadim, Yarah Bravo, and BluRum13 and a world of possibilities in a musical melting of global ideas. There was a world tour titled, 'The Russian Percussion' which ran from summer 1999 til 2005, when One Self was born.

In 2001, BluRum13's sophomore album, "Vaguely Familiar" was released on DJ Vadim's Jazz Fudge Records. This would be the blueprint for what One Self would later become. 20 years later, dive into their soulful sounds, where organic hip hop meets live instrumentation: a vibrant fusion of jazzy rhythms, Daddy Vad aka DJ Vadim production and elevated lyrical rhythm play, designed to elevate your spirit, inspire your mind, and take you to unfamiliar places. The group consists of:  BluRum13, Panther1na and DJ Vadim, plus so many guests, like:  John Ellis on keys, (Cinematic Orchestra,) Mr. Woodnote (Roni Size, Dub FX,) Meryem Saci, (IAM-MARSEILLE.)
